Golombki Soup Recipe
A comforting soup made with ground beef, chopped cabbage, tomatoes, and rice in a rich broth.
15ouncesDiced TomatoesOne standard can with the juice
15ouncesTomato SauceOne standard can
1/2cupWhite RiceUncooked
1tspSaltTo taste
1/2tspBlack PepperTo taste
Instructions
Put your large soup pot on the stove over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and chopped onion to the pot.
Cook until the meat is brown and the onions are soft.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for one more minute.
Add the chopped cabbage, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce to the pot.
Pour in the uncooked white rice, salt, and black pepper.
Stir everything together very well and let the soup come to a gentle boil.
Turn the heat down to low and put a lid on the pot.
Let the soup simmer for 30 minutes until the rice and cabbage are soft.
Serve warm in large bowls and enjoy.
